Seb Bouin Climbs New 5.15b/c in France

This is his second 5.15b/c first ascent in France after La Rage d'Adam

Seb Bouin has made the first ascent of Beyond Integral 5.15b/c and Terra Nova 5.14c at Pic Saint Loup in France; it was bolted by local climber Fedric Ferraro.

Bouin is currently touring France, putting down old projects and sending classics. Beyond Integral is a 50-metre test of endurance that starts up a 5.15a to a hard boulder problem, which is followed by more hard climbing to the top.

Bouin made the first La rage d’Adam 5.15b/c last year in the Verdon Gorge and graded it similar. He also made the first repeat of Move 5.15b/c at Flatanger in Norway this year, an Adam Ondra test-piece; and ticked Mamichula 5.15b and made the first ascent of The Dream 5.15b.

“The moves are amazing,” said Bouin about Beyond Integral, which is one of the hardest routes in France, along with Alex Megos’s recentl Bibliographie 5.15d. “It follows tufas, crimps, jugs and includes some dynamic movement.”
