Found in a Colorado alpine valley, Shadow Walker was established only last year
Isabelle Faus is a leading American boulderer with dozens of hard sends and first ascents to her name. She’s climbed a number of V14s with the most recent being Shadow Walker, which you can watch below.
Shadow Walker was first climbed by Charlie Barron in 2020, and repeated by Jimmy Webb and Chris Deuto. It’s located in the amazing Swissco/Fall River Reservoir, an area in Colorado with a high concentration of quality granite boulders. The problems range from V0 to V14 and include hard lowballs, traverses and highballs.
Faus has climbed at least six V14s now, including Emasculator, Crème de la Crumb Sit, Sinwav, Memory is Parallax, The Wheel of Chaos and Amandla. “For the past few years I have been spending my time trying hard, exploring and learning about climbing,” said Faus. “I’ve also spent a huge amount of time developing boulders and areas in Colorado, but also in Europe and South Africa. I have devoted my life to enjoying climbing.”
