September 13, 2010 – Enzo Oddo on 9a Rampage

The 15-year-old French climber Enzo Oddo just bagged the third ascent of Condé de choc 9a (5.14d) in Entraygues. Last month Oddo also redpointed Biographie 9a+ (5.15a) in Céüse and has currently climbed more than six routes graded 9a (5.14d) or harder. Oddo’s recent sending-spree suggests he may soon join the ranks of other young climbers like Adam Ondra who have pushed the boundaries of difficult climbing. More details here.
