Squamish Arc’teryx Climb Academy Celebrates 18th Year
It's one of the biggest climbing festivals in North America every summer
The Arc’teryx Climb Academy is returning to Squamish from Aug. 22 to 24 in celebration of their 18th year. The multi-day event brings some of the world’s best climbers to Canada’s west coast to teach clinics, give presentations and more.
The full clinic lineup will be released on April 16, 2025, giving participants an opportunity to preview the available options for the August event. From advanced trad techniques to beginner-friendly bouldering, there is something for everyone. Clinics fell up fast every year, so be sure to register on April 16 here.
About the festival, Canadian champion climber Alannah Yip said, “Every year I leave the Arc’teryx Climb Academy feeling so inspired and even more psyched to climb – it’s truly one of my favourite events of the year. A mountain festival with emphasis on learning and connecting makes for an amazing atmosphere of celebration and support. Fun fact, before I was an Arc’teryx athlete I learned to trad climb at an Academy clinic.”
There will also be gear demos, live music and several community events, including film debuts. It’s one of the best climbing parties of the year, so don’t miss it if you’re around Squamish at the end of August.
