Stanhope Climbs Cobra Crack

Will Stanhope appears to be riding the sending train. Having recently dispatched the Smith Rock trad testpiece the East Face of Monkey Face 13d, Stanhope has now also bagged the fifth ascent of the difficult Squamish crack climb, Cobra Crack 14b. The thin and severely overhanging crack was first climbed by Sonnies Trotter in 2006 and has seen repeats by Belgian rockstar Nicolas Favresse and American wonder- kids Ethan Pringle and Matt Segal.
