This Will Make You Want to Visit Skaha
A new video features Sonnie Trotter and Em Pellerin climbing at the famous B.C. crag

Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park is one of Canada’s most popular climbing areas, thanks to the excellent rock, long seasons, well-protected climbs, easy access and scenic views. A new video by Dam Mai just dropped that promotes the area, watch below.
The Skaha guidebook has most routes in the south and several in the north. Many climbers start their rock climbing season every year with a trip to Skaha thanks to the nice weather in the Okanagan Valley. With spring around the corner, people will surely be heading there by next month.
“The Skaha Bluffs are known worldwide as a sought-after destination– a true rock climber’s paradise– nestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, in Penticton,” read the video description. “Uncommon rock formations and a dry grasslands climate provide both endless adventure for humans and rare habitats for a variety of unique plants and animals.
“Conservation and climbing goes hand-in-hand, thanks to the dedicated efforts of a few committed individuals. Presenting interviews with Skaha Bluffs legend Rolf Rybak on behalf of Skaha Bluffs Park Watch Society (skahabluffsparkwatch.com) and the Okanagan Climbers’ Association bolt fund; and John Leroux, also for the Okanagan Climbers’ Association (okanaganclimbers.org). Also featuring footage of climbers (in order of appearance): Sonny Trotter, Morgan Shankman, Russ Turner, Nick Korvin, Connor Runge, and Emelie Pellerin.”
