Watch Alex Honnold on the Joe Rogan Experience

Joe Rogan talks to Alex Honnold for two hours in an in-depth conversation about climbing, life and the film Free Solo. This is episode number 1,189 of the show, which has featured guests such as Elon Musk, and is one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes.

Honnold has been touring around the country for the release of Free Solo, which documents the first free solo of El Capitan. He also recently did a Ted Talk.

According to celebritynetwork.com (a website that is often wrong in their calculations), Honnold is worth two million dollars.

I gave a TED talk earlier this year – it’s now available online (link in bio). I contrasted my experiences free soloing Half Dome and El Cap as a way to talk about the value of preparation and training. It was probably the most gripped I’ve ever been while giving a talk so don’t judge too harshly – the TED conference is pretty intimidating, especially for a rock climber… Enjoy!
