Moritz Welt, 17, made the first ascent of Royal Flush V14 in Frankenjura, his fifth of the grade, in 2019. Watch Megos repeat the line.
“The full line on the boulder starting like Mutant and going all the way up to the end of Backgammon,” Welt said after his FA. “Wanted to do this for a long time and after getting close last weekend I came back this afternoon and crushed it first go. There are 16 hard moves in a row – a technical first part into a powerful ending – climbs just perfect but pumps like hell.”
