Hansjorg Auer has soloed three Dolomite big walls in a day with nothing more than a small paraglider, climbing shoes and a chalk bag.

In August 2016, Auer free-soloed The Vinatzer/Messner VI+ 800m on Marmolada, the Abramkante VII 500m on Piz Ciavazes and Große Mauer VII 300m on Sass dla Crusc in only 12 hours. He covered over 30 kilometres and gained 3,600 vertical metres.
