German climber Pirmin Bertle sent a new V16 earlier this year called Drop a Line in Couisimbert, Switzerland.

Bertle, who has climbed a number of 5.14ds and other difficult boulder, including a new V15 last week, suggested the stout grade of V16.

The route took him eight months of work. For more on his system, which doesn’t include any indoor training, visit his blog here.
