Watch Pou Brothers on New Patagonia Route Aupa 40

Iker and Eneko Pou have climbed a new route up the east face of Aguja Guillaumet in Patagonia, which they called Aupa 40. The 525-metre alpine route goes at M7. Patagonia has not been the scene of many new routes this year due to the weather.

They climbed their new route in 10 hours up discontinuous features right of the Slovenian Route and returned to camp after 21 hours. They called the route Aupa 40 because Iker turns 40 this year. Watch the Pous brothers on their new route below.
