Stefano Ghisolfi is one of the world’s top sport climbers with sends up to 5.15c and he’s now projecting no a route he thinks might be harder.
“A possible 9c [5.15d] in Italy? Maybe,”said Ghisolfi. “I don’t even know what 9c really means, but I’m falling in love with the route and the project itself, it doesn’t really matter how hard it is, I like it because it is too hard for me, so I need to become a better and stronger climber to achieve it.”
Watch Ghisolfi, who recently sent Perfecto Mundo 5.15c, project what will surely be a new route at least at the 5.15c grade.

I'm still trying to figure out the best beta for the King Line project, and this weird knee bar helps a lot because it is just before the main crux. This is not the best rest ever, but I assume we have to take what the rock has to offer! • •📸@sara_grip • • @thenorthface @lasportivagram #foryourmountain @camp1889 @epictv @hrtholds @misuraweb #neverstopexploring @fiammeoromoena #fiammeoromoena @frictionlabs • #climb #climbing #steghisati #rockclimbing #klettern #escalade #bouldering #climbing_pictures_of_instagram
