Watch Tanya Meredith on Recent 5.14 God Traverse Send

Tanya Meredith recently made The Traverse of the Gods 8b+ (5.14) at Craig y at Longridge in Lancashire.

Meredith has attempted the long and pumpy traverse on and off for years starting in 2008. After her send, Meredith spoke to UKClimbing.com.

“I made a mental commitment to being more tactical and getting comfortable on the high break. I started to do links on the end sections rather than from the start, as I already knew that bit very well.

“This gave me the belief and confidence that I could do the traverse but I never thought it’d go quite as smoothly as it did.”
