Sasha DiGiulian set out to become the second climber to complete Rocky Mountain Trilogy; a compilation of three of the hardest 5.14 big walls in the Canadian Rockies.

The imposing climbs, on Castle Mountain, Mount Louis, and Mount Yamnuska, took DiGiulian two months to piece together. Setbacks with climbing partners, a shoulder injury, and mounting wildfires, she was faced with ever increasing obstacles. “Pushing through the uncomfortable moments and riding the ups and downs of life, DiGiulian drives herself through mounting fatigue and a closing weather window to strive for her historical goal.”

The three routes were established by Sonnie Trotter over five years and include The Shining Uncut 5.14, War Hammer 5.14 and Blue Jeans Direct 5.14. The film will premiere at the Banff Mountain Festival this fall.
