Watch Will Mayo Send 5.13 Splitter

Will Mayo is known for his hard winter ice and mixed sends, but this past year he has been focusing on steep cracks.
In this film, Mayo sends Red Planet 5.13b, which is a two-pitch crack first climbed by John Mattson. Red Planet is in the Coconino National Forest near Sedona, Arizona.
“The crux second pitch ascends an overhanging off-fingers crack that splits the southeast end of a soaring buttress of red Schnebly Hill sandstone.”
