Young-Hye Kwon Sends Difficult Sport Routes in China

Young-Hye Kwon has climbed a number of difficult 5.14s in the The White Mountains of Yangshuo, China.

Last winter, Korean climber Young-Hye climbed the hardest mixed routes in the world at the time with sends of Kamasutra D13+ in Italy, Dechette D14 in France, Steel Koan M13+ in the Canadian Rockies and Mustang M14 in Colorado, each in three tries or less. Full story here.

In Dec. 2015, Young-Hye turned his attention to hard rock and sent Spicy Noodle 5.14c, China Climb 5.14b and American Gangster 5.14a in the White Mountains of Yangshuo, China.

Young-Hye said the 5.14 sends were very meaningful to him as he trained specifically for the difficult grades. He said that in 2016, he hopes to climb harder grades of both sport and mixed climbing.
