Climbing at The Emeralds yesterday with @tylerkersey and @living2adventure was a freaking blast! Eating avocados like apples, struggling on granite, and living my best life. Here’s Tyler getting his first clip on Lightning Bolt 5.11+. A post shared by Brook Anderson (@brookbriana) on Jun 20, 2018 at 3:24pm PDT Nothing like a dose of afterwork splitter shared in the good company of @kyleskidmorephotography . Anyone want to take a stab at guessing what route? A small hint, it’s probably one of the least popular Squamish Top-100’s for its grade. . . . . . #theclimbinglife #climbing #climbingmag #climbonsquamish #climbingisbliss #climbing_is_my_passion #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #hellobc #humanpoweredadventures #getolympus #grippedmagazine #TimetoClimb #Squamish #adventureisoutthere #pacificnorthwest #optoutside #rockclimbing #rei1440project #climbinginspiration #explorebc #mecnation #exploresquamish #expandyourplayground #stayandwander #wildernessculture #sunsets #lifeofadventure #celebratewild #adventuretheeratislife @getolympus A post shared by Alex Ratson (@aratson) on Jun 22, 2018 at 7:57am PDT If you don’t know @brettclimb aka Brett Meyer is one of the people responsible for discovering and creating many of the climbs in pway and he’s still doing it after over 20 years. That’s why it was important to me to position some of his tools in the foreground to honor the work he does. If you climb pway… you owe this guy a beer hahaha trust me… you do… we all do. In this he is working “Overlooked Right”. Despite the brutally cold weather we had a great time! • • • • #legendary #rockclimber #climbing #climber #bouldering #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #nature #newenglandbouldering #fitfam #fitnessaddict #boulders #climbinglife #instadaily #fitnessmotivation #frictionlabs #instapic #instagramhub #boulderinglife #climbing_worldwide #grippedmagazine #climbing_is_my_passion #climbinglife #climbingisbliss #climbingrocks #epictvclimbing #rockspotclimbing #organicclimbing #sonyalpha #zeiss #zeissbatis A post shared by Brian Lewis (@brianlewis.photo) on Jun 23, 2018 at 9:29am PDT Dirt roads and cracks. @sam_squaanch on keyhole A post shared by Nick Young (@nick_young_photography) on Jun 23, 2018 at 9:21am PDT Leaving a station on reprobate last week. This thing was much tougher than expected for the grade. ?@climbthatpitch A post shared by Mike Samson (@the_real_slim_samson) on Jun 23, 2018 at 8:08am PDT A gritty burn in humid conditions on my current project The Fleeing Heifer (5.12c) Despite not doing as well as I wanted to on this burn, it’s still so much fun to climb this route. The moves are physical yet intricate which makes it a pleasure to climb ? @findingfemme • • • • • #theclimbinglife #climbingmag #climbing_is_my_passion #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #hellobc #humanpoweredadventures #grippedmagazine #TimetoClimb #adventureisoutthere #pacificnorthwest #optoutside #climbinginspiration #exploresquamish #expandyourplayground #stayandwander #wildernessculture #lifeofadventure #celebratewild #dontfearthewhipper #shirtisoptional #funismandatory A post shared by Mathew Collins (@climboncollins) on Jun 22, 2018 at 6:48pm PDT @coltenintheoutdoors wallowing through steep snow during our first attempt on Mt Barrill. #35mm #alaskarange @featheredfriends1972 @shwakmagazine A post shared by Alec Berghoef (@alec_berghoef) on Jun 22, 2018 at 6:07pm PDT There are approximately 12,000 things going on in my life right now….I really just want to go climbing haha surprised? ? but really, balancing everything is a never ending learning process and sometimes a struggle. Oy life. Photo by the low key awesome photographer @dylnyethemountainguy A post shared by Rae (@alpine.sunrae) on Jun 22, 2018 at 7:15am PDT The pig, the poop tube, the portaledge. Hauling these up every pitch was a real pain, especially up chimney pitches like these where it would get stuck on seemingly every rock and the follower would have to constantly unwedge it from constrictions. But we elected to travel on the heavier side so we could take our time and enjoy the ride. Also we couldn't do without the gardettos chips ?
