I find it important to focus on how I FEEL in competitions & not just look at the result. In provincials I definitely didn't get a result that made me happy…I missed finals by one place (3 attempts) ? BUT I did feel strong. I fell at the finish hold of the only problem I didn't top which would have put me in 4th. All my training is paying off. I CAN do better…Most importantly I absolutely love competing & especially the friends & support Canadian competition community brings! SOOO I will go to Nationals!!!! ??? I'm already so excited! . . Thank-you @pccloverdale for hosting provincials! & Thank-you to my sponsors who are helping me follow my dreams! @forceclimbing @climbonsquamish & E9 Canada ???? . . ? @murdochshane #strongmindstrongbody #determination #climbing #bouldering #training #cantstopwontstop #climbonsquamish #forceclimbing #forceathlete #e9clothing #e9teamcanada

Plastic ? ******************************** I discovered the world of indoor climbing when I moved to the 'big' city for school. To paint a picture of little Reina, I grew up with the same 35 classmates from kindergarten to high school and climbing was backyard adventuring in the mountains with a friend or family. Stepping foot in a crowded city gym full of outgoing, athletic and competitive strangers, was absolutely terrifying for me!!!!. But It didn't take long to convert…..! Climbing plastic is flat out fun guys, social, quick training session and a place where I have met a lot of great people. I can never give up my closeness to the mountains but there is always time for playing on plastic. ❤️ ******************************** ?: Unknown stranger…. Thank you for the photo. #citylife #makingfriends #climbinggym #indoorclimbing #training
