7 Funny Comments For Alex Honnold’s Truck Post

Alex Honnold posted on social media that he has teamed up with an electric car company to promote their new electric truck.

“I’ve been wanting to go electric for years now but haven’t felt like there was quite the right option for my lifestyle,” Honnold wrote.

“I’m so excited that Riven is making an electric vehicle that’s rugged enough to handle the rough dirt roads that access all my local climbing areas. I know there are a lot of us out there who have been wanting this exact thing.”

Honnold is one of the most well-known climbers ever, so naturally he has over 1.5 million followers on Instagram and Facebook.

While most comments were lecturing Honnold about how bad electric cars are (mostly factually wrong), some of his followers commented with some knee-slappers!

“No one ever needs to tell you to drive safe. Not after the boulder problem.”
“Not sure who is advising you but this latest foray into product endorsements is the tackiest I have ever seen. What’s next? Steak knives?”
“Come on Alex. You know damn well you can’t fit a bed in the back of that truck.”
“Man, I can’t wait until I’ve got moderately-successful-orthodontist money!”
“Alex is one of the best athletes in the world. Kobe or Jordan could buy a Caribbean island and no one would flinch, Alex gets a truck and people are losing their minds.”
“I am the dude in the Prius that yelled ‘Hey Alex!’ that day.”
