Filmmaker Andy Arts takes a deep dive into the issue of bolt hanger theft in the Bow Valley this summer. His investigation leads him to an unlikely culprit.
Featuring top climbers from the Bow Valley, characters from some of his previous films and a lot of humour, this short film gets a nod for being one of the best of the year in Canada.
It’s common for hangers to go missing at sport crags and on multi-pitch routes, but this year saw more hangers go missing than usual. Follow Arts on Instagram below. The film premiered at the Night of Lies 2019.
