Alex Puccio’s Recent V14 and Hardest Sends

Alex Puccio is one of the most consistent hard boulder senders out there and she’s recently logged her fourth V14.

On social media, she reported that she’s ticked Penrose Step at Leavenworth.

Puccio is heading to the first IFSC World Cup of the year in Switzerland on April 13 and 14.

Penrose Step was climbed in November 2017 by another top comp climber, Austrian Anna Stohr.

Penrose Step was first climbed in 2013 by Carlo Traversi, who sent it in just one-and-a-half weeks. It was known as the Ladder Project.

Puccio said, “Amazing! Revenge after getting robbed a year ago when I fell off the very end and then the rain came in. It went down second day this trip and I tried it I think two days last time. So took four maybe five days in total split over the two trips. What an awesome line!”
