April Will Be a Low-Risk Activity Month

And be sure to support your local healthcare workers in any way that you can

April will be remembered as one of the worst months ever for coronavirus deaths in North America, according to health officials.

The most important thing right now is that we rally behind those who need support the most. One of the best ways that we can do that is by staying home and by doing social distancing. And, no matter how nice the weather is, by not doing any dangerous climbing for (at least) the month of April.

Visit Canada Helps here for a list of charities that you can donate to. There are many climbers in Canada who work in healthcare or other essential services, so a big thanks to them for keeping us safe. There are a lot of top climbers online offering training tips, fun clips and insight into their local area. See some below.

I believe climbers are like kids, give them a piece of rock and they will climb it, multiple times, giving a name everytime they find a new way to the top. Lock them in their homes and they will try to climb every climbable thing in every room of the house: tables, chairs… the kitchen seems the most crowded crag of these days!
