Check out this comic from Zen Pencil that tries to put exploration into perspective.
For those not in the know, the quote comes from the English mountaineer George Mallory. In 1924, he and Andrew Irvine made an attempt to reach the summit of Mount Everest, they were last seen 245 metres from the summit. They never returned. Visit Zen Pencil and check out all of their comics.
