Don’t Miss the Final Boulder World Cup of 2023! Watch Here
Innsbruck 2023 is a grand finale and a big premiere all in one. We say goodbye to bouldering and hello to lead.

It’s hard to believe but we’re already at the sixth and final IFSC Boulder World Cup of the 2023 season. From Wednesday June 14 to Sunday June 18, the World Cup will be in Innsbruck, Austria for both a boulder and lead event. The boulder comp will run from Wednesday to Friday, the lead comp Saturday and Sunday.
This is the last Boulder World Cup event of the season so the stakes are high. Of the top-five ranked women in bouldering, only France’s Oriane Bertone is not registered to compete. Natalia Grossman (USA), Brooke Raboutou (USA), Miho Nonaka (JPN), and Ayala Kerem (ISR) are all expected to participate. Similarly in men’s bouldering, four of the top-five athletes will compete. Tomoa Narasaki (JPN), Lee Dohyun (KOR), Toby Roberts (GBR), and Sorato Anraku (JPN) are all registered, but France’s Mejdi Schalck is not.
Who will win the overall season in women’s bouldering? Will Grossman, Raboutou, or Nonaka win another gold in Innsbruck? In men’s bouldering, will Japan’s Narasaki or Korea’s Lee take the top spot? Or will Roberts’ tenacity bring him another World Cup gold? Will a Canadian make it to the semis or finals?
We’ll be covering the results so be sure to check back in to Gripped Indoor Climbing for the latest news.
