Motivation Monday: Sherpa Guides Dancing on Everest

For this Monday Motivation, we aren’t focused on a big send, new record and wild dyno, instead we turn out sights to the end of the Everest season.

Sherpa dancing is a long honored practice during a Puja and in this video, a number of guides show off their skills for the camera.

Phunuru Sherpa said, “They say climbing and guiding is a risky job but there is much more to see behind.

“For me I would say this is one of the best job in the world. Our team showing up in Gangnam Style at Camp 1.”

Puja, a prayer ceremony with offerings to the gods, must precede a climbing expedition.
