New B.C. Alpine Climbing Guidebook
Kevin McLane announced his new guidebook this week. Look for it to be released this summer

Climbers looking for up-to-date information on classic and new alpine routes in southwestern B.C. won’t have to wait much longer, as Kevin McLane is about to release a new guidebook with over 200 routes.
McLane said it will be available very soon and that it has “250 plus climbs and scrambles, 80 peaks and 300 photo topos.” McLane is one of Canada’s most accomplished guidebook authors over the past 30 years with memorable write-ups. From guidebooks about western Canada’s best climbs to several about Squamish climbing, McLane knows how to package route beta, pitch descriptions, historical info and more useful info.
This is an entirely new book, not an update to an existing one. We know it will include some long rock routes, like those found in Marble Canyon, plus dozens of classic alpine lines. For more books by McLane’s publishing company High Col visit here.
