Seb Bouin has sent his second 5.15b with the first repeat of Adam Ondra’s Mamichula in Oliana, Spain. “It’s my hardest route on the paper,” said Bouin.
Bouin spends much of his time climbing in Verdon and has said that La Ramirole is one of the best crags in the world. Last year, he made the first ascent of a decade-old project he called La Cote d’Usure, a 60-metre sport route that he graded 5.15a.
Bouin’s tick list makes him one of the world’s best sport climbers and includes: Chilam Balam 5.15b, Kmira 5.15a, La Cote d’Usure 5.15a, La Madone 5.15a, Les yeux plus gros que l’antre 5.15a/b and Thor’s Hammer 5.15a.
