See the View from the Summit of Everest in New Interactive Panorama

This new-for-2022 image will bring you to the highest point on earth

Thomas Worbs started panoramic photography in 1999 and collected a lot of high resolution panoramas. Back then, limited bandwidth and poor player technology it was not possible to publish them adequately on the internet.

You can navigate through a few of the highlighted areas, such as the South Col and Ama Dablam to see the views by clicking on the arrows.

In 2010, technology (Adobe Flash) and bandwidth were available and Worbs brought his vision to Mountainpanorama.com. “Very quickly I found other passioned climbers and panoramic photographers supporting the idea and using Mountainpanoramas.com as their platform,” said Worbs.

“We are proud to present the summit panorama of the highest mountain of the world shot by climber and mountain guide Tim Mosedale. Respect and admiration towards Tim for this achievement.”
