It’s been a cold start to the year across Canada, but ice climbers have been making the most of it by getting out to swing the tools.

I'm not one for inspirational quotes but decent climber (and exceptional muffin baker) @the_real_slim_samson once told me "I'll show you perfect technique. Let me just find a picture of myself" ??? jokes aside, paying attention to climbing properly helps, considering I never thought I'd be able to lead the steeper lines at Bear Spirit.
