1 – John Price Self Portrait

"Just spent a few hours shooting at The Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park with Paul Zizka Photography and Andrew Caitens Photography. It has to be one of the most surreal and otherworldly places I have ever stepped into. While water rushes beneath the frozen floor on which you stand, beautiful, alien like rock features twist and arch their way above you creating incredible shapes. We experimented with a few ideas, including self portraits."

2 – Ian Greant in the Ghost

While shooting climbing I'm constantly learning more about the craft. Yesterday I learned it's so easy to get fixated on certain shots and not give any thought to less obvious parts of the climb. The usual mantra is "I need to photograph the crux and the steepest sections." I broke out of this tunnel vision yesterday and decided to get myself into position so I was able to photograph Ian leading the upper half of the first pitch. I'm glad I did and stoked on the results. Ian Greant leading the first pitch of The Sorcerer WI5, Ghost Wilderness Area, Alberta, Canada."

7 – Takeshi on the Icefields

"Takeshi is one of the strongest and most psyched climbers in the Bow Valley. I love tying into a rope with this guy! He tolerates my limited Japanese phrases that I blurt out with excitement. We've only had a few days out my friend but I look forward to many more. Here is the man himself working his way around a curtain of ice on Cyber Pasty Memoria' with the Icefields Parkway stretching away in the distance."

9 – Jon Effa on Red Shirt

With a forecast of 15 C just east of Banff, we opted for rock today. Sadly the sun flirted with us for the first five pitches and climbing was cold on the fingertips, it decided to show itself and warm us up for the final few pitches and top out. Here is Jon Effa on the final traverse of Red Shirt a Yamnuska Classic."

"Margo Talbot steps out onto a backlit pillar of ice on Louise Falls while a bright canvas of stars illuminates space above. Mt Fairview is tinged with red from the light pollution of the Chateau Lake Louise."
