Jesse Dufton becomes the first climber to lead Old Man of Hoy, blind

The new film Climbing Blind focuses on the story of the first blind-lead of Old Man of Hoy in Scotland. The film is about Jesse Dufton’s attempts to become the first blind climber to lead the iconic sea tower.

Jesse Dufton is an accomplished climbers with first ascents across Europe. Old Man of Hoy is a six-pith 5.10a. Watch the trailer below to movie, which will be the feature film at the Brit Rock Film Tour, which starts on Oct. 24.

Still buzzing! I came, I fondled, I conquered! Here I am nearing the top of The Old Man of Hoy…the final pitch was amazing. I was enjoying every moment. I'd passed the 'scary' traverse, the crux move, the run-out pitch, I'd avoided the fulmars and there was nothing else to worry about, just brilliant bridging up the corner to the summit.
