Watch Adam Ondra’s Silence 5.15d Trailer

Adam Ondra has released the trailer to the movie about his route Silence, the world’s first 5.15d, which he climbed in 2017.

The premiere is going to be on Feb. 23 in Arco in Italy in cooperation with Garda Trentino. “It will be a great evening with a special guest Jerry Moffat,” said Ondra.

Silence was formerly known as Project Hard is located in Flatanger, Norway. It was bolted in 2012 by Ondra who described it as “much harder than anything else” he had previously done.

Silence is about 45 metres long with the first 20 metres graded 5.13d followed by three distinct boulder problems at V15.

The first one was described by Ondra as the hardest he’d ever climbed. It consists of 10 incredibly hard and unusual moves, including single-finger locks, climbing upside down and a variation of a figure four move. After the third boulder, a huge jug leads to the anchor, through a relatively easy boulder consisting of five moves.
