Watch Alex Honnold on Jimmy Kimmel July 2017

Alex Honnold stopped by Jimmy Kimmel on July 13 to chat about his El Cap free-solo earlier this year. Honnold became the first climber to free-solo El Cap via Freerider 5.13a.

A few days after his well documented and videoed ascent, he was spotted by Yosemite photographer Tom Evans on the upper pitches of Freerider without a rope or the crowds, see the photo here. Did he go for a second lap?

Still so stoked!! All smiles on the summit right after topping out. I was elated, @jimmy_chin was probably just relieved that his movie has a happy ending. But seriously, it was an incredible process with an outstanding crew of good friends. So happy to share the experience with friends. Who knew soloing could be social? (In its own way). Thanks @samuelcrossley for the photo and all the help.
