Watch Laura Rogora Send Ali Hulk Sit Start Extension Total 5.15b

The future Olympian recently won her first World Cup

On July 25, Laura Rogora became the second woman after Angy Eiter, who sent La Planta de Shiva in 2017, to climb 5.15b with Ali Hulk Sit Start Extension Total in Ali Baba’s Cave in Rodellar, Spain. The route is a 15 move boulder problem link-up into an extended 5.15a.

The 19 year-old Italian will be climbing at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Rogora needed only six days to repeat the steep route. The original line is Ali Hulk 5.14d, but it has a number of variations. The 5.15b link-up was first climbed by Spanish climber Jonathan Flor in 2019.

Rogora started climbing at the age of four and by July of this year, shes had redpointed 13 routes of 5.14+ or harder, making her the most accomplished female rock climber in the world. She also just won her first Lead World Cup in Briancon.

The film is by Marco Iacono and features Rogora who is being belayed by her father.
