Watch The Quarryman and a Run-Out

Watch these two famous climbing videos, one has a dangerous run-out and the other and some moves that no other route may require.

Arnaud Petit has been changing the rules at Ceuse, one of France and World’s most famous sport climbing crags.

He climbs a 65-metre 5.13 called Black Bean, but decides to ignore the bolts which lead up the route and instead climbs it only on natural protection.

In the 1980s, Johnny Dawes climbed The Quarryman, which defies grading and has still only seen a handful of repeats. For those who have never seen the moves on Quarryman, watch and enjoy.
