Watch Quebec Festi-Glace 2019 Return Film

The popular event returns after not taking place for over 10 years

Festi-Glace has been gone for over a decade, but will be returning this winter. For those of you new climbers, Festi-Glace was the go-to ice climbing festival in eastern Canada. Many of the world’s best climbers visited over the years.

On top of the international enduro-style professional competition that will feature some of the best climbers and alpinists in the world, numerous inspiring activities will be offered. The program includes ice climbing trials, snowshoe trails, a rappel station, an amateur competition, a youth zone, conferences and film showings by renowned athletes, a village of exhibitors, skills clinics, and much more.

The event takes place in Pont-Rough and thanks to the team of passionate volunteers, a new generation of climbers will be able to enjoy it. Watch this short promotional film with interviews and clips for the climbs. Visit the site here.
