Watch Sachi Amma Send Stoking the Fire 5.15b

Sachi Amma recently sent Stoking the Fire 5.15b in Santa Linya, Catalunya, earlier this year. “Since my last trip to this massive cave last December, this route was burning in me,” said Amma.

“I prepared my body for three months because I haven’t been training for about a few years. It worked pretty well on the route. But after two heartbreaking falls on the middle part, I realized that I wasn’t prepared for this super long steep wall. Perseverance paid off and on March 27, 2019, I sent Stoking the fire.”

I sent Stoking the fire yesterday! Since my last trip to this massive cave last December, this route was burning in me. I trained for 3 month because I wasn’t training my physical for long time. It worked pretty well on the route. But after twice heartbreaking fall on the middle part, I noticed I am not prepared for this super long steep wall. I continued to adapt and adjusting in the route.
