Williston Lake in B.C. Has Rad Boat-Access Sport Climbing
The crag has a number of bolted routes in the 5.10 range
Andrew Neis has uploaded topo to a number of boat-access wall on Williston Lake in B.C.’s Peace Region. The routes have been worked on over the past few years.
The two limestone crags are Fish N’ Chips and Canada Day Buttress. Andrew was joined by other climbers for the route development, including Michelle Neis. The majority of routes are 5.10 and there are a number of projects listed.
Williston Lake was created after the building of the W.A.C. Bennett Dam in 1968 and the water levels can fluctuate up to 20 feet, which can sometimes make reaching the bolts a little tricky.
