Winter Ascent of Grandes Jorasses North Face
A new film featuring an historical Alps ascent was just released for free
A new video just dropped featuring the first winter ascent and first repeat of Walker Directissime on Point Walker on Grandes Jorasses’s north face by Charles Dubouloz, Clovis Paulin and Symon Welfringer in February 2023.
The first ascent of the route was by Patrick Gaborrou and Herve Bouvard in summer 1986. Watch Dubouloz, Paulin and Welfringer’s second ascent below.
