Free Online Teaser to New Valhalla Rock, B.C., Guidebook

The guidebook has been in the works since 2014 and should be out later this year

Interior B.C. climbers Cam Shute and David Lussier, along with Chris Rowat and many other, have released a free teaser to their new Valhalla Rock guidebook. You can check out the low-res (good for mobile) here and higher quality version here.

The authors of the guidebook said: “Even though we have no expectation for you to pay for this teaser, if you feel like making a financial contribution to the project please send an e-transfer to cshute@darkhorse.dev.”

The teaser is a guide to the 33 alpine rock routes on Gimli Peak. All the information in this teaser will be included in the upcoming Valhalla Rock guidebook. The Valhalla Rock guidebook project has been ongoing since 2014 and it’s been spearheaded by local climbers Lussier and Shute.

“As we are nearing completion, we have decided to release a free PDF teaser encompassing all 33 alpine rock routes on Gimli Peak along with some Mulvey Basin information. We wish you all the best for the upcoming alpine season and hope this guide inspires you to go climbing.”
