Megos Sends Monkey Wedding V15 in 30 Minutes

Alex Megos has reported that he has sent Monkey Wedding V15 in only 30 minutes.

After his send, Megos said, “What?! That went faster then expecting. First day here in Rocklands and already sent Monkey Wedding after just half-an-hour of working out the moves.

“Did try it three years ago in half-a-day, but thought I was too weak. This trip it didn’t feel very hard at all. Totally suits my style I guess. Super excited for more.”

The popular Rocklands, South Africa, problem was first climbed in 2002 by Fred Nicole. The Swiss crusher suggested a grade of V14, but Paul Robinson suggested V15 after his second ascent in 2010.

Many top climbers have repeated the sharp route, including Nalle Hukkataival and Dave Graham. Watch Daniel Woods with a send below.
