Watch Climbers on Man Yoga, a Big Stanley Headwall M8
The 250-metre route has become a test-piece Rockies modern mixed climb

Jon Walsh and Jonny Simms established Man Yoga on the Stanley Headwall in 2011 and it quickly become a classic winter mixed route in the Rockies.
Man Yoga goes at M8 and climbs 250 metres of steep terrain on the popular B.C. alpine mixed wall. A year after Man Yoga was established, Raphael Slawinski sent God Delusion M9 through the steep roof right of Man Yoga.
“Man Yoga may involve scratching around, getting pumped mentally and physically above natural protection on sometimes questionable rock,” said Walsh. “All while searching for passage up steep virgin terrain, often a mix of rock and ice.”
Man Yoga is now one of the most often-tried hard mixed routes on the Headwall.
