In 2014, Italian climber Federica Mingolla sent the famous 60-metre Tom et Je Ris 5.14b in Verdon.
Mingolla is a 20-year-old crusher from Turin, Italy, who’s only been climbing for five years. As a full-time science student, she makes time between classes to train.
It was on Oct. 2, 2014 that she sent Tom et Je Ris 5.14b, which came a five months after her first 5.14. Mingolla is quickly rising to the top of young women climbers on the international scene.
