Watch Rock Climbing on Yamnuska in November

Before the snow fell, Gripped editor Brandon Pullan and New Zealand alpine team climber Jaz Morris teamed up for an ascent on the west end of Yamnuska.

They linked the first two pitches of Broken Wing to two pitches of Pony Express to the final pitches of Direct Mail.

Broken Pony Mail is a fun six-pitch 5.10a with bolts and cracks. A late start led to cold temps and a dark descent.
