Stu Smith is one of Canada’s leading trad-climb new routers with a number of 5.14s to his name.
In the below clip, he visits Ravens Castle in Skaha and makes a smooth send of Fire in the Hole 5.13d.
Smith sent on his third go and it’s likely the line’s second ascent in May 2017.
The first ascent was by Adam Tutte in 2010, it has nine bolts and a technical roof.
