12 Hard Squamish Boulders with Matt Fultz
Over seven days this summer, he climbed several classics including The Egg and Offenders of Faith
American climber Matt Fultz, 32, recently spent seven days in Squamish where he climbed a dozen hard problems. Earlier this year, he made the second ascent of Vecchio Leone Sit V16 in Brione, Switzerland.
In Squamish this summer, he climbed The Egg V11, Salad Shooter V10, King Swing Low V10, Tim’s Face V11, The Proposal V12, Offenders of Faith V13, Black Hole V11, Squaminator V11, A Block V12, Sisyphus V10, Shelter V12 and Frontside V12.
Fultz now has an impressive seven V16’s to his name. Vecchio Leone Sit was his first European V16. His six previous V16 ascents were all in the U.S.A., his first being Hypnotized Minds in Rocky Mountain National Park back in 2020. On 8a.nu, he’s logged ascents of 20 V15s and over 150 V13s and V14s.
