In 1994, Tomáš Pilka bolted a 20-metre line up an overhanging feature at Beckov in Slovakia and called the project Dlouhá Trasa (Long Way).

The steep wall has a castle perched on top and was popular during the 1980s and early 1990s. In June 2021, Adam Ondra worked on the old project, and said he “was blown away by the beauty but could not send it,” so left to return this year. After Ondra attempted it, MiÅ¡o MakuÅ¡iniec cleaned it and worked out new beta.

Ondra returned 17 months after first trying and made the first ascent. He called it Absolutorium 5.14d and that it’s one of the nicest that he’s climbed in the country.
