Watch Adam Ondra on what he describes as the “best boulder ever built,” an arête called Exhumace on an underpass near Brno in the Czech Republic. It was first climbed by pastor Ivo David in 2002 and was never repeated until Ondra.
In 1899, an urban climbing guidebook to the University of Cambridge in England by Geoffrey Winthrop Young was published. Ever since then, urban climbing has been popular.
