Aidan Roberts Climbing Serendipity V14

Serendipity tackles a roof with some small crimps and reachy moves

Aidan Roberts has climbed Serendipity V14 at Impossible Roof near Roche Abbey in the U.K. The problem was first climbed by Dan Varian as a sit start to Mike Adam’s Serenity V13.

Serendipity involves some crazy thin low percentage undercuts through a steep roof. Each move must be done smoothly and calculated to prevent swinging off the tiny holds.  It’s been climbed by Dawid Skoczylas, Tom Newman, Mathew Wright, Sam Prior and Ned Feehally.

Roberts has been on a tear over the past year, with a repeat of Alphane V17, the first ascent of Isles of Wonder SS V16 (below) and a recent first ascent of a V15 – read more about it here.
