Crimea Rock Climbing

Mount Foros, or Forossky Kant, in Crimea has some five-star multi-pitch climbing to be had. The origin of the word Foros is Greek, it means windy. 

Foros is the scene for many strong Russian and Ukraine climbers. The warm rock face near the Black Sea has both easy and technical climbing. The 400-metre Foros is one of the classic walls in Crimea. Steep limestone with nice cracks, the wall boasts both trad and sport routes.
